The Wholesome Show

A podcast

We're planting a new seed!

So currently, the wholesomest of shows is embarking on a new kind of adventure! Rest assured it’s in podcast form; with a similar level of organic-ness (98%) although a slightly diluted rawness (70%), but with an added nourishment that comes from us personally tending to its germination. It’s a little bit different, just as quirky, with (hopefully) a strengthened ability to rattle a few people – rest assured we are only rattling those that need to be rattled!! There may be some video footage, there may be multiple segments (I can actually definitely confirm this) and we want to get YOUR opinions (dear reader) and use them to ensure we are cultivating this idea correctly. Stay tuned!

Rod's Playground

Dearest Reader, I have a little treat for you… Are you ready?

You know when you’re looking for something in the many multitude of folders and you’re getting so desperate (because you may or may not have forgotten the search bar existed) that you just start opening any and all folders? You don’t find what you’re looking for but sometimes you’ll find something so much better!!!

Welcome to the two Wholesome Show gurus (namely Will and Rod) ripening their brand. The produce that they have grown may not be have been plucked for final sustenance but it provides a unique insight into their growth progress. Personally, I think that they should be exhibited for all to see and to show how everything – even this organically raw show – has a starting plan to ensure it flourishes.

Labeled 'Rod's Playground' you already know this is gonna be brill!

NOTE: These next phrases are unedited by myself and are purely the work of... some kind of mind!

Ethical considerations VS creative license

Hullo Reader - I’m back, this time with something even a little sciencey!

Today I have drafted (a decent portion of) my first Ethics Application (fist pump!). This - little less than organic process - really has to be constantly refined - there’s no rawness allowed here! Every t must be crossed and every i must be dotted. It is little wonder that science is often considered an uncreative discipline! The energy you need to do this does not come in a natural state but instead born from copious amounts of caffeine and possibly a solid amount of chocolate!

Steepness of the learning (and coping) slope aside, it really puts into perspective the doggedness of scientists and the hoops they have to jump through. To be able to distil their organic thinking into a perfectly cultivated set of answers to allow them to actually produce their ideas… it’s a miracle creativity exists at all! However, it is a truly excellent way to hash out the aims and details of your idea. To plan how and when to sow, water and cut your crop. But – like every crop – you’ll never know how the season will pan out and what your finished product will look like. You’ll just have to make the best of what you get. Fingers crossed that this Ethics Application bears all the fruit we need from it!

A feast for the eyes as well as the ears!

G'day guys! It's Ella - the communications manager... or the more recently dubbed puppy wrangler (which is defs more in line with what I do). So, I have been commissioned to blog wholesome and healthy content to facilitate the reading needs of you listeners! Get prepared for the behind the scenes nurturing that Wholesome sows. So welcome dear Listener - now Reader - to the maybe-not-as-exciting-as-you-might-think adventures of the Wholesome Team.
